Google Certificates
Delta College in partnership with Google is providing FREE online career credential
offerings to adult and working students. These programs are 100% online, self-paced
with guided instruction. Student learning support for these programs is provided by
Google.
Benefits of a Google Certificate include:
- Upon successful completion of one of these career credential programs, the student may voluntarily sign up for additional free career support services from Google. These services include resume review and career search services.
- Student is able to explore a career field while upskilling at no cost.

- Completers will receive a certificate of completion and digital badge for social media platforms like LinkedIn.
This career credential training will upskill your ability to synthesize data. This course is 175 hours of training done online using your personal computer and may be completed in six months. It can be accessed at a time convenient for you and has guided instruction with assignments and quizzes. Google Data Analytics Certificate training will allow learners to complete eight separate courses including: Foundations; Ask questions to make data driven decisions; Prepare data for exploration; Process data; Analyze data; Share data through visualization; Analysis with R programming; and Capstone.

Considering a career in IT? This training is designed for an entry level professional wishing to explore and upskill their computer knowledge and ideal for roles of IT support and computer network specialist. This course is 94 hours of training done online using your personal computer and may be completed in six months. It can be accessed at a time convenient for you and has guided instruction with assignments and quizzes.
This career credential training will allow learners to complete five separate training courses including: Technical support fundamentals: Bits and bytes of computer networking; Operating systems and becoming a power user; System administration and IT infrastructure; and IT security.
Upon completion, students will receive a Google Certificate of Completion. Students who wish to pursue an associate degree or certificate in Computer Science at Delta College may provide their valid Google Certificate and receive 14 academic credits in the following classes:
- CST 128 Computer Hardware and Troubleshooting (4 credit)*

Upon successfully passing the Google Project Management Professional Certificate students who wish to pursue an associate degree or certificate in Computer Science at Delta College may provide their valid Google Certificate and receive academic credit for the class (3 credits) Database Operation CST 235.

Delta College offers CompTIA certificates for those interested in upskilling their IT knowledge and gaining the credentials that are desired in the industry. After successfully taking these courses, individuals are able to sit for the CompTIA certification exam and upon passing earn their CompTIA certification. Delta College partners with Ed2Go to deliver these courses.
This Career Credential training will prepare you for CompTIA A+ certification.
This course is 290 hours of training done online using your personal computer and may be completed in six months. It is instructor-led with assignments and quizzes. The instructor releases assignments weekly for you to complete in self-guided learning. You can engage with the instructor via message boards and group chat. This course is designed for a motivated learner and designed to give you the skills needed for an entry level IT support role.
You can earn CompTIA A+ certification after you pass two exams. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1001, covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing, and network troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1002 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures.
CompTIA A+ Certification is vendor neutral and internationally recognized, giving
you a competitive advantage no matter what country you are working in and what hardware
you are working with.
Cost for this program includes testing vouchers. The vouchers are prepaid access to sit for the certifying CompTIA certification exams

Students who successfully complete the CompTIA A+ Certification training will receive a “Delta College Certificate of Completion for CompTIA A+ Certification Training” reflecting 290 hours of professional development. This training program is delivered in partnership with Ed2Go.

This course is designed for a motivated learner and designed to give you the skills needed for and to master basic networking concepts. Building and maintaining networks are among the most important skills to have as an IT professional. This certification confirms that you have the knowledge you need to configure and troubleshoot both wireless and wired hardware.
